Yes,
what can I do for you? Oh, yes, Lazarus is my brother. I also have a
sister named Mary. We live together and do quite well. We take care
of each other.
Mary
is the introspective one, always asking questions that most men would
rather women not ask. We're not supposed to have brains, you know.
We're just to be baby factories, preferably boys. That's why Mary was
so taken with Jesus because He'd answer her questions without putting
her down. Myself, I do like to clean and cook. I don't quite
understand Mary, but she is a good person - really she is. She
usually does her share around the house - eventually. I do love her
and our brother.
What
about Lazarus? Oh, he's doing quite well these days. He did tell us
afterwards that he didn't want to come back. It's so nice and
peaceful over there. But Jesus called and besides, he knew that we
would need him to help us. It is a man's world around here these
days, you know. Lazarus is working, keeping us in our house and food
on the table. I don't think that Mary and I could survive without
him.
What
do I think of Jesus? Why, I think that He is the promised Messiah. I
know that the authorities killed Him and tried to stop His message
from going out, but you can't stop something that is from God, you
know. And God did send Jesus, despite what the Pharisees and Priests
think.
