As precious children of God?
With wars all around,
What has happened
To peace on earth?

Jesus was born
Into this world
To show us
How to live in love.
Just imagine
What could happen
If we all lived in love
As Jesus did.?
Waiting impatiently
For God to come.
When oh when
Will the waiting end?
Yet look there
On eastern horizon,
A light there
A promise of God
Coming to us all!
So wait for the coming!
A promiise
Of love ;
A promise
Of justice ;
A promise
Of peace ;
A promise
Of of plenty
Given to all
People.
A promise
Wrapped
In swaddling clothes
And lying.
In a manger.

Lord, let me give Christmas to someone each day this year.
Let me give the Spirit of Your love
And spread good cheer.
We don't need a tree or electric lights;
When the Light of the World lights up our lives
The joy of Christmastime is always near!
I do love the Christmas season --
Decorating and parties and jingle bells;
All the shopping for the perfect presents;
Holiday movies and Holiday smells!
But the gift I want to give this year
And give without delay
Is the gift of Love that was given to us
On that very first Christmas Day!
Lord, let me give Christmas to someone each day this year.
Let me give the Spirit of Your love
And spread good cheer.
We don't need a tree or electric lights;
When the Light of the World lights up our lives
The joy of Christmastime is always near!
Look at the manger
And the word
Made flesh.
And yet also
Look wifhin,
For there, also
The word of God
Dwells.
Waiting, waiting,
For God to come
To us all ;
When, oh when
Will the waiting end?
But look and see ;
God loves us is here now.
Among us is dwelling
The spirit of God ;
Giving to all
Love and peace.
God is There

The message
That I was given
Is this:
God's Love
Is for all people
And no one
Will be turned away.
All people are loved
And all are God's!
Comfort the people,

That God is here!

That God is love!

And feed them,
For all are God's!
Walk in the Light

In the light
Of God's love.
There is no darkness
When we walk
Always with God.

Because we are
Children of God,
We should love

Of that love
We will learn
Who God is,
For God will dwell
Always with us.
Where is our stable?
Where is God doing the unexpected in our world?
Who is God working with that we think should be left out or ignored? God is always on the side of the downtrodden and oppressed, which of the groups we look down upon is God working with and among?
We really dare not turn anybody away, for all are God's children and loved.
Can we learn this before Jesus returns?

Christmas is coming
Sooner than I want.
I cannot find
The joy of it
Anywhere.

The joy and celebration

With blankets
To keep us warm.

To take care

We all are kept safe
From harm.

In spite of who we are!

We forget about the message Jesus sent our way:

walk in safety. As we look, we find that our prayers
have been answered, for our guide and carrier of the
light is Jesus. And we find safety again.
