Rainbows
Are all around us.
Just stop and let
The light of God
Shine through you.
Rainbows,
Let them glow
That all the wotld
Might always know
Of God's love for them.
Rainbows
Are all around us.
Just stop and let
The light of God
Shine through you.
Rainbows,
Let them glow
That all the wotld
Might always know
Of God's love for them.
Do not turn away ,
Seeme.
Do not Walk away ,
Feed me.
Do not ignore me,
Clothe me.
For I am also
God's child.
If you feel lonely
And you think
That no one is there
Turn around and look ,
For God is there,
Arms outstretched
In love .
I will hope in the Lord,
Who is my refuge
And my strength.
Be not sad
Oh my heart!
Do not cry
Oh my soul!
For the Lord of Hosts
Will help you.
He will come to you
And be your strong right arm.
Have courage and wait,
Wait upon the Lord
And He will help you.
The winds of time
Blow across the years
And everything does change.
Too swiftly now
The times go by,
Too swiftly now
The years do fly,
And everyone grows too fast .
For yesterday, it seems
That was but a child
With no responsibility
And little to worry me.
While today an older version
Of that child lives,
Lives and worries everyday
About everything around .
Slow down, oh years,
Blow not so hard, oh winds,
For I need time
To catch my breath
And to look down
The corridor of time
To try to see what the future holds .
Ah - see them there, the lonely.
See her sitting there
Among the crowd, with the people,
Yet alone and lonely .
See him walking there
Along the shadowed path
With people on all sides,
Yet alone and lonely .
They walk alone,
Lonely for companionship ,
For a true friend;
Yet they are scard,
Scared lest anyone
See their loneliness
And take pity on them.
So they hide their loneliness
Behind a facade of happiness
Pretending they are not
Alone and unhappy.
Yet they cry, though not aloud,
To be noticed and liked
If only for a time.
To be liked for what they are
And not for what they seem to be.
See them there - the lonely :
See them and notice - the lonely .
Living outside the gate,
Not belonging
Anywhere.
No home,
No place
To call my own.
Is there anyone
Who can help me
Find my way?
Will any hear
My cries of pain?
Will anybody
Let me in?
Isaiah 56: 1-7
Hear, oh people,
Hear what is proclaimed;
There is no one who is
Outside of God's love
When they come
In faith,
Keeping the new covennt
Given to them.
Isaiah 61: 16-20
Proclaim the good news
To all the people,
That God is near them
And will help them
In all their troubles,
And all that was ruined
Will be restored
To show God's glory.
Matt 28: 16-20
Go out to the world
And proclaim to them
The good news,
That God is now here
Among the people!
Welcome, come in,
You are welcome here !
This is a safe place
And all people
May come in here .
And God is here
Among us all
And loving
Each one of us
No matter who
We are
Or how we were created.
Loving God,
Forgive us
When we forget
That all people
Were created by you.
Forgive us
When we forget
That you love
All people the same.
Help us to remember
That all people are yours.
God is always
Near each one of us
Loving us
And ready
To show us the right path.
Come here all people
And be welcome.
Know that God
Is always near you,
Loving you every day.
Go in peace and joy,
Knowing that always
You are loved
And Welcome here!!

Leviticus 19:18,34
Mark 12:28~33
Love your neighbor
As you love yourself.
Who is my neighbor?
The person next door
Who is like me.
Love your neighbor
As you love yourself.
Who is my neighbor?
The person far away
Who is different
In so many ways.
We so often ask --
Who is my neighbor?
And forget to look
Around to see
Who God is loving now.
Dear God, forgive me,
For I often
Ignore those around me
Or turn my back
On those in need.
I often fear to see
That those who who are
Different than me
Are my neighbors,
And deserve what help
That I can give them.
Help me to learn
That they all
Are loved by you
And are my neighbors.
God is here,
Among us
And loving us all;
And forgiving us
When we forget
Who our neighbors are.
We have come together
To learn who
Our neighbors are.
Let us go out now
And pass the love
That is of God
On to all people
Who are our neighbors.
Go in peace
And walk in love
With all people
Always,
Remembering
That all people
Are God's children
And are loved.
The Children of One God
Jerry Browning
We have wandered through the desert like the chosen of God did
We have lived in dark confusion like the face of God was hid
We have searched to find our Sinai while the world kept closing doors
Far too many chose to turn away, gave up and searched no more.
They chose to live in silence, in the darkness of their dreams
In solitude and oneness and in loneliness it seems
Then the light came to a chosen few and wounds began to heal
The time was right, the truths of God began to be revealed.
CHORUS:
We are children of one God Who made humanity from clay
We are worthy, we are loved, we’re whosoevers who’ve been saved
And we join our hands to form a ring around the world
We are loved, we are the children of one God.
There was a sound to follow, flute and drum began to play
The lady and the troubadour stepped out to lead the way
They carried truth and light into the darkest of the nights
And eyes began to open, wrongs began to be made right.
One by one, at first with caution, children stepped into the light
Joining hands in quiet boldness, standing firm in heaven’s light
Then a hundred came to join them, pretty soon a thousand more
And the children of one God stood where they never stood before.
CHORUS:
Surprise!
The tomb is empty,
The body gone!
Who took it,
Where did they put it?
Surprise!
Here is a young man
Saying Jesus is
Not dead but alive!
How can that be?
Surprise!
I have seen Jesus
Alive and walking
And He talked to me
Explaining the scriptures!
Surprise!
Jesus has come to many,
Showing all of us that
He is risen!
He is risen indeed!!
