A Scribe

Authority? That Jesus having any authority? Ridiculous! That one is just an ordinary man, just like the rest of us. He has never studied the Torah or the prophets in any kind of depth like I and others like me have. Why, we scribes and the Pharisees have spent years studying, and we still don't understand all that is there. So how can this Jesus, who has never studied as we have, know anything about what He is talking about? It's preposterous! These itinerate preachers are really a major problem! They all think that they have a pipeline to God. Balderdash! Most of them barely know how to read, then they claim that they know what God wants! I really wish that there was something that we could do about them!

I'm sorry, but these itinerate preachers really upset me. They really don't know anything about the Scriptures at all. The best thing that we could really do, I guess, is to just ignore them. It'll all blow over in a year or two, I'm sure. These groups usually don't last very long at all. But this Jesus an authority?! Really now!! That really is so very ludicrous! Excuse me for laughing.
