A. Celebration

We are the people

Of the rainbow

     And we are searching 

      For justice for all.

We are the people

Of the rainbow

      And we are working

     For freedom just to be.

We also belong

To God,who loves 

All people the same

And does not see 

That one person 

Is any better 

Than the next  one.

Let us work together

For justice for all

And the freedom to be

Who really are.

It's a celebration of the freedoms we have earned, freedom to marry who we want  freedom to have decent jobs, freedom to live where we want, freedom to raise our children, freedom to know God's love is ours and the freedom to worship God as we wish. But there is so much more to do, if we are going to keep these freedoms..

Of  freedoms gained

From hard work

By the people

Now dear God, 

Show us

The other freedoms

That are needed 

And how to keep 

The ones we have 

Including this one - 

The freedom 

Just to be… 

Ourselves.
