I had a little vessel, "twas fashioned out of clay
I handled quite carelessly, it fell ad broke one day
I took it to a potter who mended it with glue
He polished up the edges and made it just lik new.
CHORUS:
Broken vessel, soul of man, gently placed in the Potter's Hand
He can mend it and make it whole
Jesus mends the broken soul.
I had a gift from heaven, a living soul from God
I dragged through the dirt and sin and on it Satan trod
I broke it into pieces and scattered it so low
But Jesus came and mended it, the Potter of my soul.
CHORUS:
My friend, it doesn't matter how shattered life is now
The Lord will take the pieces as He alone knows how
He'll shape and mold the fragments until your spirit's whole
Yes, Jesus is your Savior, the Mender of yiur soul.
CHORUS:
Thank you, my friend. God bless you in your ministry. I am praying for you daily.
