Darkness

Darkness lies around me,
But I shall fear not,
For the sun
Will rise again
To give me light
That I might see
The path
That is before me.
Ghe darkness is thick about me
And like a blanket
Shuts out all lighf. 
But I shall fear not
For my God,
The light of my lifs,
Shall not leave me alone
In the darkness. He comes,
And the night is as day
And I shine in His glory
Like a moon shines
In the light and glory
Of the sun.
Then the darkness
Is no more,
For my God
Is my sun.
