A Guide

Lost in the dark,

Finding no way out.

I cannot see

To find my way;

Oh where is there

Someone to show me

The way home?

A light in the distance,

And comes a figure,

Reaching out a hand,

Offering to guide me

Along the path home.

And as we come

To where there is light,

I look to see

Who is my guide,

And find Jesus

Standing there.
