Sacred Ground

In honor and memory for those who died that day:

Be very careful

How you walk here,

There is danger near,

But also know

You walk on sacred ground.

 

There is death here

Amidst the shattered steel,

So step carefully

Because you see

The concrete here

Has crumbled to dust

And rises with every step,

But stop and remember;
