Mark 12:41-44
I really don't have much to say. I
wasn't healed like so many were. I was just trying to give what I could to God.
I wasn't paying much attention to the people around, I was just trying to put
my little bit in and get out of there. Someone told me afterwards what Jesus
had said. I still don't see that I did all that much. After all, I am very
poor, and can't put much into any offerings to God! I do have to eat too!
What? Oh - yes it helped a lot to
hear that my little bit was accepted! I mean, when you can't do much, you start
to think that those in authority look down on you, just because you're
poor. So to get that kind of compliment
from a teacher like Jesus really helped a lot!
