Matthew 14:14-21

Five thousand men is what I heard. And that didn't count the women and children. A few of us had seen Jesus leaving with His disciples and going across the lake. We walked around, picking up people along the way when they heard who we were going to see.

Of course, by the time we had caught up with Jesus and listened to what He had to say, it was late. And no one had thought to bring anything to eat with us.  I've been told that we all were fed with five loaves of bread and two fish. I don't know about that, but everyone had enough to eat.  I noticed afterwards that the disciples gathered up the leftovers and there were 12 baskets of food. All of this from a few loaves and fish! I heard that another time He fed four thousand men plus women and children. Had food left over from that one, too! This is quite a man! Teaches us differently from the Pharisees and feeds us too! This is who we need for a leader!
