Temptation

Alone with our own thoughts,

We are tempted every day.

We seek out God’s will

And often go the wrong way.

Alone with ourselves,

We seek always to do good,

But often find

We have gone the wrong way.

Alone no longer,

But walking with Jesus,

We find that doing God’s will

Much easier than before.
