My Guide

Lost in the dark,

Finding no way out.

I cannot see

To find my way;

Oh where is there

Someone to show me

The way home?

A light in the distance,

And comes a figure

Holding out a hand

Offering to guide me

Along the path home.

And as we come

To where there is light

I look to see

Who is my guide

 And find Jesus

Is standing there.
