Prayer

We come to God
In prayer,
Holding out our hands
To find out
Who God is.

We come in prayer
To form a relationship
With the God
Who is near
Each one of us.

We come in prayer
Asking for those things
That we think
That we need
In our lives.

And God is near
To answer our prayers
In the way
That will make life
Better for all people.

For when we pray,
God comes to us
And always comes
Near each of us
In great love.
